What I do here
I look after the results pages and the guides. After each draw I compare our page with the result Lotterywest publishes, and I keep the odds and prize tables in line with the operator’s own figures. When something on the site is wrong, it’s my job to fix it and to say when it was fixed.
Where the habit comes from
I’ve played Saturday Lotto and Powerball in a work syndicate for years. Someone had to keep track of who paid in and what each draw returned, so I built a spreadsheet of dividends by draw. That spreadsheet is the reason this site exists: the questions my syndicate asked every week are the questions these pages answer.
How I write
- A number goes on the page only with its source and the date I checked it.
- Odds are odds. Division 1 in Powerball is 1 in 134,490,400 per game, and I write it that way rather than dressing it up.
- I don’t publish lucky numbers, hot and cold numbers to pick, or number systems that claim to change your chances. Past draws are on the site because people want to check them, not because they predict anything.
- I’m not a financial adviser, lawyer or accountant, and none of these pages is advice of that kind.
